RapidShare blocks entire IP block
According to one of our readers (vodo | vo-do [at] hotmail [dot] com), RapidShare is blocking an entire IP block (41.232.0.0 - 41.232.255.255). RapidShare states this is because of hacking attempts coming from that IP range.

i called some friends and they do have the same message
I tried to use some proxy and then it worked fine with me and been able to access to my account.
I’m from Egypt, is it possible that rapidshare is no longer available in my area,did they block us

They Blocked TeData IPs in Egypt and BSNL , MTNL in India
hay man, i’m from Egypt too. it’s kinda weird. i was trying to access my RS account but suddenly the same message appeared to me “Massive RapidShare hack attempts detected. IP block 41.232.0.0 - 41.232.255.255 blocked. Please call your internet provider.”
however my PC is new and free of spywares or any viruses. what can i do to solve this issue.
i’m already tried to use anonymous surfing by changing my ip and it is successfully worked well. BUT HOW LONG!

yo,
tell rapidshare your exact IP and ask to unblock or refund your money. if you are a free user, than not much you can do but walk like an egyptian.
besides, viruses has nothing to do with IP blocking.

2)Enter the rapidhsare link and click on option and uncheck reove scripts.U need javascript to download from rapidshare.
3)Click go ad that shld be it.
We have just tested this proxy and it it blazingly fast. Another advantage is that this proxy is located in Germany, close to RapidShare …

I got same issue, gets to about 3mb then DL stops..

For anyone in Egypt if the IP blocked You can turn off the router for more than one hour then turn it on again and everything will go fine
the IP address always change from Tedata if your router not open for one hour it will change when you open the router
